Characters: Sango, Miroku, Shippo, Kagome. Sango/Miroku
Summary: Shippo's hearing isn't to great and accidentally tells Miroku a lie. It ends up costing him his dignity, yet he gains a nice little petname.
Shippo had been walking behind Sango and Kagome for quite some while now. He had begun to overhear some of the things they were saying. They giggled, chattered and Sango even began to blush. Shippo leaned in closer to hear what they were saying, and his eyes widened.
He quickly ran back towards Miroku and hopped onto his shoulder. “Miroku! Miroku!” he whispered into his ears.
Miroku looked at the kit curiously; with his eyebrows raised, “What is it, Shippo?”
Shippo whispered a couple of words into Miroku’s ear. He watched as the monk’s expression changed from curious, to devious.
Miroku turned to the kit, “Are you telling the truth?”
Shippo nodded multiple times, “Of course I am, Miroku!”
Miroku smirked his pervy smile, and he walked up to Sango. He lovingly stroked her lower back and soon went to southern regions.
“So Sango, I here you think I’m quite chunky. Well I find you curvy, we obviously need each other right now.” He pulled her closer to him and arched an eyebrow.
Sango quickly turned beet red, and slapped Miroku on the cheek.
Kagome burst out into fits of giggles. “Miroku! Sango doesn’t think you’re chunky! She thinks your hunky! Chunky is a type of stew in my era.” She grinned and rolled about the ground in silent laughter.
Miroku had cost himself his dignity with a simple misunderstanding of words.
And since that day on, whenever Miroku would touch Sango, she’d simply slap him, and call him Chunky.
