Inuyasha Drabble Community
IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!|
I was recently informed of a little "problem" goin on here in the comments of our little community. Someone who was posting anonymously started leaving comments which were offensive towards members of the community, as well as myself.
I've already begun taking action against these kinds of comments. The offensive comments will be removed from the site, and all anonymous comments from this point forward will be screened. They will have to be approved before they are admitted into the community.
I would like to leave the anonymous comments option open in case someone without an account has a valid comment, but if the problem continues I will disable them all together.
I will also start keeping tabs on user comments. So far there have been no problems with members, but if in the future there are problems I will need to know about it. Hopefully it will never happen, but I will not hesitate to disable all comments from non-members if I see that I need to. I will also not hesitate to remove members from the community if they become a problem. I hope it never comes to that, but if thats what I have to do to keep the peace, I will.
If you see anything going on that should not, please dont hesitate to let me know.
Also, I would like to appoligize for not posting a challenge this week. I've been moving this week, and I'm just now getting settled in. I'm still hunting for a job, so my schedule is unknown. Hopefully starting next week I will be able to start posting more challenges.
I'm also thinking about posting a challenge in which a winner will be selected from the authors and this winner will get a personalized banner to post on their entries as well as anywhere else they would like. I'm thinking about doing this as an incentive to get more people participating again. I know some people like to have these little prizes, and so I'm hoping that it will give people a reason to pay a little more attention to the site. LOL.
Let me know what you think.
