Title: The Impatient Playmate

And I almost never write through Kaede's eyes, so if it's off a bit, that's why. ^_^
He is at it again, the hanyou my sister is so taken with. He is strong and they do fight well together, even against youkai. Although, it has been a while since my sister and InuYasha have fought. But he is such... a child sometimes. It's truly sad that I can act older he.
He'a always had a short temper with myself (and any other child he runs across), but he just gets mad, acts like a fool and stalks off. I know he'd never actually hurt me, but that doesn't mean I like it when he's being a mean bully. And he always is. But I'm young and don't know many things. Maybe there is a reason he's like that.
I was thinking about what his reasons could be when I felt a very hard tap on my shoulders. He was impatient on top of everything else.
"Oi, you gonna play this stupid game or not?"
I sighed. "As I have told ye, I do not wish to."
An irritated huff came from InuYasha. "C'mon, brat. I gotta do somethin'."
"Then why do ye not go see O-nee-sama?" I was getting irritated, myself.
He crossed his arms with another huff. "'Cause she's doin' Miko stuff and I'd probably get purified."
"At least ye would be out of my hair."
He balled up a fist. "Why ya little--"
"InuYasha." The voice was calm and serene.
He turned towards the voice and saw my sister. My sister had tremendous power over him. All the irritation left him instantly. And I could see something in his eyes. What ever it was, it stopped him from being a bully for a while. |
